It's Gonna Be Great, says the newbie

Hi y'all!

Even though the actual travel part of my blogging will begin a few weeks after Becky's, I thought I'd introduce myself - especially since very few people reading this as of yet have ever met me (hi Amy!). But seriously, folks, I am very excited about this co-blogging venture. Becky and I met very recently, but we have already discovered a shared love of bachchas, Bollywood, class struggle, and trying to make friends. Also, south asia, I guess.

As this is my FIRST EVER time blogging, I ask your forgiveness in advance, but you will get a brief reprieve before being subjected to my ramblings. I'll be stateside for a few more weeks, and as exciting as my ever-continuing quest for linen pants is, I think I'll spare you the details of my long, tedious list o' logistics. However, soon enough these pages will be full of wit and wonder, analysis and ramblings, starting in Israel and Palestine, then onto India, then settling into Sri Lanka for 9 months. Aiyo.

But until then, it's relaxing with my OP lovelies, seeing family, and packing. So, as I always say...It's Gonna Be Great! No, really, I do always say that. It's actually pretty annoying in person. But since there's no pretending with you, dear readers, I shall not hide my love of mottos any longer. It's Gonna Be Great! See, my theory is that if you say it enough times, it will become true. It's Gonna Be Great! (Is it happening yet?) It's Gonna Be Great! It's Gonna Be Great!

til later,
Lea
